Chapter-01
Reborn as the Cruel Female Who Abused Her Beast Husbands
Late at night, the crimson moon hung high in the sky.
Jiang Xi clutched her head and rolled on the straw mat, countless unfamiliar memories flooding her mind.
“Without your Saint Mother, let’s see how arrogant you can still be!”
“With a face that disgusting, you actually dare to covet me?”
“I’d rather lose my ability than stay married to you!”
“Die in the Cursed Land and never come back!”
A sweet-looking girl, surrounded by five strikingly handsome men, sneered down at her.
In the endless darkness, countless figures glared at her with disgust, enclosing her completely.
Jiang Xi suddenly opened her eyes, gasping for air as she sat up.
When she took in the shabby surroundings, she froze.
Wasn’t she dead? Dead in the zombie apocalypse?
But the memories in her mind told her otherwise — she had transmigrated.
She had crossed into a world where females ruled and beasts were subservient, a world where every female could have countless beast husbands.
The body’s original owner was also named Jiang Xi — daughter of the Holy City’s Saint Mother. Backed by her powerful mother, she had acted recklessly, bullying females and beasts alike.
She even had her mother forcibly marry her to ten exceptional beastmen.
However, once her Saint Mother died and a new one took the throne, Jiang Xi was exiled to the Cursed Land.
Five of her beast husbands risked losing their powers — even their lives — to sever the marriage bond with her.
The remaining five, unable to break the bond, were exiled along with her.
While Jiang Xi was piecing together these memories, a series of loud bangs exploded outside.
She dazedly opened the door.
But instead of looking at the colorful streaks of light in the sky, her gaze fell upon a young man kneeling in the snow.
His bare upper body was covered in purple welts from whipping, his pale skin glowing faintly under the moonlight.
Snowflakes fell on his black hair, turning it white. Though trembling from the cold, his handsome face still held the calm grace of a gentleman.
When the door opened, the young man lifted his head, his amber eyes framed by white-tipped lashes — only to lower them again immediately.
Following the memories in her mind, Jiang Xi called his name softly.
“Lu Liufeng.”
His body stiffened, his head bowing even lower.
“It’s all Liufeng’s fault. Please punish me, my Lady.”
Lady?
Punish?
More memories rushed into her mind.
Jiang Xi remembered — the original owner wasn’t just vicious, she was also hideous. Her entire body was covered in poisonous boils since childhood.
No one wanted to touch her, not even her beast husbands.
The original Jiang Xi often drugged them, trying to force them into intimacy, but never succeeded.
This time, she had drugged her eagle-tribe husband, Lu Liufeng.
But he had rather died than touch her.
In rage, she had forced him to kneel in the snow and whipped him brutally.
In this matriarchal world, a female could beat or even kill her beast husbands without consequence — but if the female died, all bound husbands would die along with her.
Jiang Xi pressed her hand to her face — and her fingers brushed over the rough bumps covering it.
Suppressing her frustration, she said softly, “Get up. Come inside and tend your wounds.”
Her gentle tone only made Lu Liufeng’s body tighten further.
“Please, my Lady, punish me!”
After a brief thought, Jiang Xi understood — he feared she was luring him in to torment him again.
She sighed. “Don’t worry. I won’t do anything to you.”
The distant explosions and lights in the sky — her new memories told her exactly what they meant.
It was the beasts of the Cursed Land fighting off another wave of Cursed Beasts.
The Cursed Land lived up to its name — everything here was tainted, including the wild beasts.
Each time a Cursed Beast died, it would resurrect three days later to attack again.
No method had ever stopped the cycle; the beastmen could only fight them off every three days.
Lu Liufeng looked up, startled. “My Lady… you truly forgive me?”
In the past, when she called him inside, it only meant more torment.
“Mm.” Jiang Xi nodded. “I won’t hurt you again. I’m sorry for what happened before.”
She had no taste for cruelty — and she needed her beast husbands to survive here.
Lu Liufeng’s amber eyes flickered with disbelief. In his lifetime, he’d never thought he’d hear an apology from her lips.
Just then, the courtyard gate creaked open.
A blood-covered man stepped inside. His short gray hair was slicked back, his pale blue eyes sharp beneath strong brows — cold and commanding.
Jiang Xi blinked.
Another of her husbands — Mu Ling of the Wolf Tribe. Once her personal guard, later forced to marry her.
Seeing the scene before him, a faint flicker of disgust crossed his eyes, though he quickly hid it.
He knew if she noticed, he’d be the next one kneeling in the snow.
He lowered his head. “My Lady, the commander requests Lu Liufeng to scout beyond the wall.”
In other words — let him go.
Normally, Jiang Xi would have exploded with fury, insulting the commander for daring to “command” her.
But this time, she simply said, “Go.”
Both men froze.
Mu Ling glanced up, startled, then quickly averted his gaze.
Then Jiang Xi stepped forward and placed her hand on Lu Liufeng’s bare shoulder.
Both men tensed — sure she was about to do something cruel again.
But in the next instant, they froze for a different reason.
A soft green glow spread from her hand, and the bloodied whip marks on Lu Liufeng’s back began to heal. Not fully — but most of the wounds closed.
Jiang Xi swayed, withdrawing her hand.
Her healing ability from the apocalypse — it had come with her.
But it was weak now, barely level one. Even this light healing left her drained.
Lu Liufeng stared in astonishment. “My Lady… your spiritual power has returned?”
But… something about it felt different.
Mu Ling narrowed his eyes.
In this world, the hierarchy existed not only because females were rare — but because every female was born with spiritual power.
Through intimacy — even a kiss — they could soothe or heal a beastman’s unstable powers.
A rare few could manifest their spiritual power into light and heal physical wounds.
Those women were known as Blessed Females.
And among them, the one chosen by the Tree of Life… was the Saint Female.
